Walang Sugat

I have a quote that I always remember which goes: "time does not heal the wound nor help you forget the person. time only numbs the pain and blurs the memories." Now how is this quote related to my article? It's not but it is. (magulo na ba ang statement?). I just remembered the quote because I recently got hurt. Not so recent really. It happened over a week ago but I'm still carrying the result up to now.

I am carrying this very nasty burnt wound on my right leg (ang flawless kong legs na ni hindi ko pinadadapuan sa langaw!). How did I get the wound? Well, I call it plain stupidity. I dare say that backriding on a motorcycle (scooter, if you please) doesn't do me any good. Imagine going on a joyride with Pia on her scooter on Easter Sunday?! Serves me right for not going to church. What's funny is that we've been driving around Meycauayan for over an hour without any problem and when we decided to go home, that's when I got this nasty burn. It's so nasty it's the size of a one peso coin.

So why am I ranting about the burn? Simply because it's our graduation from class training at Dell and our theme would be "summer". Thus, we are expected to wear our summer outfit. And how am I supposed to do that when the burn is getting really bad-looking? Well, I have to think of a solution for it, right? I did thought of a solution but I don't think it's a good one. Still, it's better than having the wound open for all to see. ;)
